Bespoke Yacht Charter was founded in 2014 by two senior yacht brokers with more than 40 years of combined experience in the superyacht industry. The idea was simple: to offer knowledgeable, personal advice and build long-term relationships with clients rather than simply arrange individual charters.
With a presence in London and on the Côte d’Azur, we work with clients from around the world. That might mean arranging a week-long yacht charter on the French Riviera, cruising from Monaco to Cannes and Saint-Tropez, or planning a longer itinerary through the Mediterranean.
Luxury yacht charter is our sole focus. Every enquiry starts with a conversation about how you like to travel, who will be joining you and what you want from your time on board. From there, we can recommend yachts that suit the way you intend to use them, advise on the crew and shape an itinerary around your interests rather than simply following a standard route.
We are entirely independent and do not sell or manage yachts. That distinction is important: our brokers are free to search the global charter fleet and recommend a yacht because we believe it is right for you, not because we represent the owner or management company.
Just as importantly, we make a point of knowing the yachts we recommend. Our brokers regularly step aboard yachts, meet captains and crews and maintain close relationships throughout the charter industry. Photographs and specifications can tell you a great deal about a yacht, but they cannot tell you everything. First-hand knowledge of the crew, atmosphere on board, condition of the yacht and how its spaces work in practice allows us to offer more informed advice.
For our clients, that means fewer unknowns and recommendations based on experience rather than a brochure.
Cannes is a particular area of expertise for Bespoke Yacht Charter. Our brokers have more than 20 years of experience working with yachts during the city’s major international events, giving us first-hand knowledge of the port, the challenges of securing the right berth and the yachts that work particularly well for meetings, hospitality and entertaining.
Each year, we arrange Cannes event yacht charters for clients attending Cannes Lions, MIPIM, the Cannes Film Festivaland TFWA. The requirements can be very different from a conventional yacht charter: location within the port matters, guest capacity becomes critical and the yacht may need to function as a meeting space, restaurant, hospitality suite and event venue over the course of a single day.
Our role extends beyond finding the yacht. We can advise on berthing, onboard layouts, guest numbers and the practicalities of hosting during some of the busiest weeks of the year in Cannes, helping clients choose a yacht that works for the way they intend to use it.
